President Barack Obama traveled to Capitol Hill on Wednesday to deliver an important message to fellow Democrats, “Don’t rescue” Republicans on Obamacare.

With less than three weeks before Obama is set to leave the White House, BarackObama visited Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill with a simple objective, save Obamacare – his signature healthcare reform law.
In the closed-door meeting, President Obama urged fellow Democrats to not “rescue” Republicans by helping them pass replacement measures, according to CNN.
“Look out for the American people.”
As he walked by a scrum of reporters, Obama would only say this about the Democratic Party’s message: “Look out for the American people.”
The president also suggested another idea, Democrats should start referring to the GOP’s new plan as “Trumpcare.”
The suggestion to brand the GOP plans as Trumpcare is a clear indication that the Democratic Party’s goal is to turn the tables on Republicans and turn up the pressure to put forth a replacement plan.
The combative remarks from President Obama comes as Republicans also huddled on Capitol Hill Wednesday morning to project a sense that they have a plan for replacing Obamacare, once they repeal it. Vice President-elect Mike Pence met with Republican lawmakers in an effort to counter-act President Obama’s meeting with Democrats this morning.

“Make America Sick Again”
As Republicans are set to take control of the House, Senate and the White House, Democrats are building their strategy on ways to apply pressure to the Republicans against rolling repealing Obamacare. Furthermore, to ensure that the Republicans are held responsible for any disruptions in health coverage. Following their meeting, Democratic lawmakers started to push the phrase: “Make America Sick Again” — a spin on Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again.”
No Replacement Plan
It has become increasingly clear that despite having years to build a replacement for Obamacare, Republicans don’t have a clue what they will be replacing Obamacare with once it’s repealed.
