The number of Democrats who say they don’t plan on attending Donald Trump’s inauguration has grown significantly in the last few days.

In fact, the number jumped since Donald Trump attacked Civil Rights Icon John Lewis via Twitter Saturday.
As of January 14 – 17 Democrats have announced they will be boycotting the inauguration.
While the majority of Democrats still plan to attend the inauguration, the fact that 17 members of congress are refusing to attend sends a strong message about Donald Trump’s standing in Democratic parts of the country.
