Poll: Only 36 Percent Approve Donald Trump’s Job Performance So Far
According to a new Quinnipiac University poll, Donald Trump hasn’t started his presidency very well. In fact, only 36% of those surveyed approve of Trump’s job performance so far.
While 44% of respondents to the poll said they disapproved of Trump’s handling of the presidency.
Quinnipiac thought it worth noting that the first poll they released on former President Barack Obama’s job performance early in his presidency showed him at a 59% job approval. That survey was released March 4, 2009.
Quinnipiac surveyed 1,190 voters nationwide from Jan. 20-25, using live interviews on land lines and cell phones. The poll has a margin of error of 2.8 percentage points.
