According to Gallup’s daily tracking poll, Donald Trump’s net approval rating has dropped eight points in his first week as president.

But by Friday January 27, the percentage of Americans who disapprove of Donald Trump’s job performance shot up to 50% and the percentage of those who approve had dropped to 42% – a net drop of 8 points in just one week.
Other national polls are showing similarly low approval ratings for Donald Trump. In a Quinnipiac poll which was released Thursday 44% said they disapproved of Trump’s handling of the presidency so far, while only 36% approved.
The Gallup daily tracking poll surveys 1,500 adults nationwide via telephone with a margin of error of plus or minus 3 points.
