WATCH: Seth Meyers Slams Trump Muslim-Ban On Late Night
Donald Trump and his Muslim-ban found their way into Seth Meyers “A Closer Look” segment on Monday night.
The “Late Night” host called the ban, “cruel and unnecessary.”
Meyers pointed out how “sloppy and confusing” the implementation of the ban has gone and noted that oficials seemed to be “caught off guard.”
Then Meyers said, “Trump should be the first president that legally has to count to 100 before taking action. Not because he’ll think better of it, but because he’ll forget what it is.”
Meyers also said, “It’s only been a week, but the Trump administration has already revealed itself to be a government of incompetent authoritarians with nothing but contempt for many of the basic constitutional principles this country has cherished since its founding.”
