Does Anyone In The Trump Administration Know Who Frederick Douglass Is?
Unfortunately, the answer to that seems to be not really.
First, Donald Trump has an insane, rambling rant about Black History Month. Showing among other things, that he has no idea who Frederick Douglass is.
Next, Trump’s press secretary Sean Spicer was asked to clarify Trump’s bizarre statements on Frederick Douglass. And Spicer not only didn’t seem to know what Trump was trying to say but he also showed us that he seems to be confused about Frederick Douglass as well.
Spicer said: “I think he wants to highlight the contributions that he has made…And I think through a lot of the actions and statements that he’s going to make, I think the contributions of Frederick Douglass will become more and more.”
Can anyone explain to us what the hell that means?
