Large Protests Against Trump Erupt For Third Straight Weekend

For the third weekend in a row, protesters take the street across the country to protest Donald Trump’s policies. Similar to last weekend, people are protesting Donald Trump’s Muslim-ban.

Thousands of people are peacefully marching in Washington D.C., heading to the Capitol building. Protesters are calling on legislators to say no to racism, to hate and to Trump’s Muslim-ban.

And many have joined together at Stonewall in New York to stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ community.

Trump’s Policies Protested Internationally

Even people outside of the U.S. are still protesting Trump. In London, England today, marchers carried signs and chanted from the U.S. Embassy to Parliament demanding that British Prime Minister Theresa May rescind Trump’s invitation for an official state visit sometime later this year.

There is also a small group of protesters in Indonesia, a predominately Muslim country, outside of the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta to demand their government “Dump Trump.”
