Marco Rubio: ‘We Are Not The Same As Putin’
Senator Marco Rubio on Sunday pushed back against Donald Trump’s characterization that America is the same as Russia’s Putin.

Marco Rubio isn’t the only Republican to be speaking out against Trump’s Putin comments.
Senator Ben Sasse, during an interview on ABC’s “This Week,” said the United States is “not at all” like Russia.
“There is no moral equivalency between the United States of America, the greatest freedom-loving nation in the history of the world, and the murderous thugs that are in Putin’s defense of his cronyism,” he said.
Trump’s comments came during an interview with Fox News that is scheduled to air later Sunday. Trump dismissed host Bill O’Reilly’s characterization of Putin as “killer,” suggesting America was on equal footing as the authoritarian regime.
