Congressman Cummings Demands ‘Disciplinary Action’ For Kellyanne Conway
Democrat Elijah Cummings, who is the top Democrat on the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee, said that Kellyanne Conway should receive “disciplinary action” for promoting Ivanka Trump’s clothing line during a television appearance.
In a letter to the chairman of the committee, Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz, Cummings said Conway’s behavior “appears to be a textbook violation of government ethics laws and regulations enacted to prevent the abuse of an employee’s government position.”
And he asked Chaffetz to refer the incident to the Office of Government Ethics.
