Former NH AG Label Trump’s Voter Fraud Allegations False
Donald Trump just can’t get over this fake voter fraud issue. Now, he has brought the issue in front of a group of senators in a closed door meeting, arguing that both he and former New Hampshire Senator Kelly Ayotte should have won the vote in New Hampshire, according to Politico.
Trump said Ayotte’s reelection bid was foiled by “thousands” of people who were “brought on buses” from Massachusetts and illegally cast ballots in New Hampshire.
However, former Attorney General of New Hampshire Tom Rath is disputing Trump’s claim on Twitter. “Let me as be unequivocal as possible-allegations of voter fraud in NH are baseless, without any merit-it’s shameful to spread these fantasies,” tweeted Tom Rath, a prominent New Hampshire Republican who worked on the presidential campaigns of former President George W. Bush and Mitt Romney.

Last month, the president said he would ask for a “major investigation” into voter fraud, however, even Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell doesn’t want to put federal money toward the investigation.
