So far no Senator has been willing to discuss anything about the meeting, not even to confirm that they met with Comey.
The Senate Intelligence Committee is investigating Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. The committee is also looking into whether there was any contact between the Trump campaign and Russian officials during the campaign.
After the meeting, Senator Marco Rubio tweeted that he was confident that the Committee would now conduct a thorough investigation.
I am now very confident Senate Intel Comm I serve on will conduct thorough bipartisan investigation of #Putin interference and influence
