How Trump Spent His Time During First Month in Office
The Washington Post released a comprehensive look at how Trump divided his time in the past month – and it’s exactly what you think it would be.
Out of the 744 hours Trump has been in office, he has spent half of that time officially working. Trump has only spent 6 hours in intelligence briefings, but dedicated 13 hours to tweeting. He has spent 6 hours signing bills and executive orders, but 25 hours golfing.
Also, according to the Post, about a quarter of Trump’s time since he took office has been spent in Florida — mostly at his Mar-a-Lago resort but also on the golf course. (Remember when Trump said in August 2016, “I’m going to be working for you. I’m not going to have time to go play golf.” That must have been a joke…)
