Keith Ellison Invites Tom Perez To Attend Trump’s Speech To Congress Tomorrow
In another show of unity for the Democratic Party, Congressman Keith Ellison has invited the newly elected DNC Chair Tom Perez to be his guest for Donald Trump’s address to Congress tomorrow night.
Ellison said in a statement Monday, “DNC Chair Tom Perez has always been on the side of working people, and I am honored to have him as my guest to tomorrow evening’s Presidential Address.”
“Tom will stand up for working Americans and fight Trump every step of the way in every corner of the country. I look forward to standing by his side, along with every other American who wants a fair economy.”
Ellison was named Deputy Chair by Perez immediately after he was elected Chair of the party in the hard-fought race.
