‘Nobody Knew That Health Care Could Be So Complicated,’ Donald Trump On Difficulty Of Obamacare reform
Sorry Donald. Actually, everybody knew.
During a speech in front of a bipartisan group of governors, Donald Trump, declared that, “Nobody knew that health care could be so complicated.”
“I have to tell you, it’s an unbelievably complex subject,” Trump continued.
Trump was referencing the challenge he and Republicans are now facing after spending years claiming they have an alternative plan to Obamacare.
For most people who have watched the debate about health care reform it’s hard to miss the irony of Donald Trump admitting how difficult an issue this is.
Republicans in Washington are in disagreement about how to reform Obamacare. After spending seven years saying they would repeal the health care law, they are now faced with the burden of actually having to govern.
Donald Trump, of course, didn’t offer any specifics to how he plans to replace Obamacare. Though he did say, “We have come up with a solution that’s really, really good I think. Very good.”
Unfortunately, just saying the word good, or even very good doesn’t help anyone who is worried about losing their health insurance in a Trump repeal of Obamacare.
