Malcolm Nance a counterterrorism expert and former intelligence community member, was on MSNBC’s AM Joy this morning to discuss Donald Trump’s Twitter rant and the growing connection between Trump team and Russia during the campaign.
Trump’s Tweetstorm essentially confirmed the existence of a FISA warrant, which would be a pretty devastating piece of evidence for Trump and team. The other possibility, of course, is that the President is just repeating internet rumors and conspiracies – which in this presidency seems equally likely.
And that’s where MSNBC’s Malcolm Nance enters to describe that Trump’s behavior seems to indicate that he knows he’s been caught.
this morning who says this is the type of behavior you might expect to see when people know they’ve been caught. Here are the key quotes from Nance:
“This is what happens when a target starts getting buggy, because he knows that he’s caught.”
“He knows something’s going on…if he thinks his phones were tapped, then he believes we know everything.”
“He is acting this morning like that information is real. Which means he’s confirming everything we suspect. And by running around and tweeting about it…he know’s that something’s going on…”
