Donald Trump Has Spent 31 Percent Of His Presidency On Vacation, Costing Taxpayers Millions
According to the calculations of CBS News White House corespondent Mark Knoller, as of this weekend, Trump has spent 31% of his presidency on vacation at Mar-a-Lago. That is a full 14 days of his still young presidency.
And according to Bradd Jaffy, a senior editor with NBC News, Donald Trump had been golfing 8 times in the 6 weeks he’s been president.
Donald Trump of course spent significant time complaining about the few occasions that Barack Obama went golfing. In 2015 Trump said, “I’d want to stay in the White House and work my ass off,” he told voters.
To point out that Donald Trump is a hypocrite would not really do justice to just how demented he is.
It’s important to note that Donald Trump is spending this vacation time at his private for-profit club where members pay $200,000 fees for the privilege of being able to dine at the situation room.

This is how a Florida newspaper reported on the subject: “President Donald Trump mingled with guests outside a charity ball at his Mar-a-Lago Club on Saturday night. As attendees danced inside the ballroom where the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute held its gala, the president was spotted nearby, shaking hands and talking with club members and guests.”
The Palm Beach Post went on to say, “Earlier, Attorney General Jeff Sessions also took a few moments from high-level meetings to greet guests at the estate.”
