Kentucky’s Republican Governor ‘Not Impressed’ With Obamacare Replacement Bill
The Republican governor of Kentucky is standing up against the House Republican plan to replace Obamacare.
Governor Matt Bevin is siding with fellow Kentucky Republican Rand Paul is saying he is “not impressed” with the health plan.
The Associated Press quoted Bevin saying, “Sen. Paul … is not impressed with what has currently been offered. Truth be told, I’m not either. So I’m with him.”
Kentucky was one traditionally red states that chose to expand medicaid coverage under Obamacare, though Bevin has vowed to roll that back.
Republicans seem to be facing as much opposition within their own party than they are getting from Democrats.
