Golfer-in-Chief: Donald Trump To Go To Florida Resort Again This Weekend
Donald Trump will return to his Mar-a-Lago resort this weekend, making this the fifth weekend he has spent in Florida since becoming president on January 20.
It’s important to note that all presidents go on vacation and in recent history most have gone golfing. There is nothing inherently wrong with that, however Donald Trump seems to be pushing the limits of reasonableness.
And Trump’s visits to Florida have already caused problems, including national security concerns for having sensitive meeting out in the open in front of the public.
Trump’s press secretary Sean Spicer announced the trip to Florida during the White House press briefing.
Donald Trump has spent nearly 25% of his presidency at his Florida resort where spends time golfing and having fancy dinners with rich patrons pay substantial fees to get access to the president.
Reports also emerged today that Donald Trump plans to host the Chinese President at his Mar-a-Lago resort next month.
