Trump Names Another Goldman Sachs Executive To His Administration
In today’s edition of ‘you didn’t actually believe I was going to drain the swamp,’ Donald Trump has named another Goldman Sachs executive to a senior role in his administration.
This will be the fifth Goldman employee to join the Trump administration.
James Donovan who is a managing director at Goldman Sachs will serve as deputy Treasury secretary.
Other Trump administration officials who came from Goldman Sachs are Steve Bannon, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, Gary Cohn and Dina Powell.
Trump aggressively railed against Hillary Clinton and Ted Cruz about much smaller connections to Goldman Sachs. However, Trump has proven he has no issue with blatant hypocrisy.
