Fox News Pulls Judge Napolitano After FBI Confirms No Wiretap
So you know that guy that Donald Trump and his administration keep citing as their source for Trump’s lie about Obama ordering a wiretap of Trump Tower? Well, Fox News just pulled him off the air after FBI Director Comey confirmed that Trump’s claim was false.
According to the LA Times, Judge Napolitano has been pulled off Fox News indefinitely.
Fox News host Shepard Smith previously debunked Trump’s claim by saying, “Fox News knows of no evidence of any kind that the now-president of the United States was surveilled at any time, in any way.”
According to the LA Times, “White House press secretary Sean Spicer cited Napolitano’s charge last week when asked why President Trump continues to stand by his initial claim. The British spy agency sharply denounced Napolitano’s allegations, saying they are ‘utterly ridiculous and should be ignored.'”
According to the LA Times source, “Napolitano is not expected to be on Fox News Channel any time in the near future.”
