Flynn Didn’t Sign White House Ethics Pledge: Report
The Michael Flynn story just seems to keep getting worse. Former national security adviser Michael Flynn did not sign a required ethics pledge, according to a report in The Daily Beast.
The ethics pledge prevents all federal appointees from lobbying their former colleagues for five years after leaving the administration and also bans lobbying for a foreign government for life.
According to The Daily Beast, “Confirmation that Flynn did not sign the pledge comes amid controversy over his lobbying last year on behalf of a company linked to the Turkish government.”
Donald Trump made a big show of signing his executive order requiring all administration officials to abide by his ethics pledge and the revelation that Michael Flynn didn’t sign it adds even more question about whether the administration did any vetting of Flynn.
