Two-Thirds Of Americans Want Independent Commission To Investigate Trump-Russia
A two-thirds majority of voters in America want an independent commission to investigate the potential collusion between Donald Trump’s campaign and the Russian government.
According to a Quinnipiac University poll that was released on Friday, 66 percent of voters favor an independent commission, and only 29 percent do not.
Additionally, 65 percent of voters consider Russia’s election interference either “very important” or “somewhat important.” And 63 percent of voters are either “somewhat” or “very” concerned about Donald Trump’s relationship with Moscow.
The Quinnipiac poll also found that 59 percent of voters disapprove of the way that Donald Trump is handling policy towards Russia.
The Quinnipiac poll surveyed 1,056 registered voters nationwide and was in the field from March 16 to 21. The margin of error is 3 percentage points.
