President Obama will visit the South Pacific island of Tetiaroa for an extended stay while he writes his memoir, according to the Washington Post. The island was once owned by Marlon Brando.
Barack and Michelle Obama recently signed a record-breaking multi-million dollar book deal for their memoirs, covering their time in the White House. It was reported that the bidding war for the Obama memoirs reached over $60 million. The New York Times reported that Obama plans to donate a portion of the proceeds from his memoir to charity.
