Carly Fiorina Calls For Special Prosecutor For Russia Investigation
Former HP Chief Executive and presidential candidate Carly Fiorina has called for an independent panel or special prosecutor to lead the investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election.
“We’ve got to have either a special prosecutor or an independent commission, and that’s still the right answer,” she said Wednesday on “The John Fredericks Show,” CNN reported.
“And every day that goes by it becomes clear that’s the right answer, because the Democrats will not let this go,” Fiorina added.
“And the American people need to be reassured about what actually happened here. That’s the only way you’re going to get to the bottom of this in a way that everyone trusts.”
Fiorina becomes the latest person to call for an independent investigation into the Russia investigation.
It’s been reported that Fiorina is contemplating a run for Senate in Virgina in 2018.
