DNC Chair: Republicans ‘Don’t Give A Sh*t About People’
Perez lets Republicans have it over health care bill saying it proves they “don’t give a sh*t about people.”
Tom Perez, Chair of the Democratic National Committee, didn’t hold back during a conversation about the Republican health care plan saying it was proof that Republicans “don’t give a sh*t about people.”
Perez was speaking to a crowd of attendees at a conference on Friday when he let Republicans have it over health care.
He also slammed Donald Trump saying that he “wants his name on everything” except the disastrous health bill.
“Well I’ll tell you my idea, because you know what embodies their program? ‘I don’t care,’” Perez said. “Because they don’t give a s— about people.”
Tom Perez was elected Chair of the Democratic National Committee in February, narrowly beating out progressive favorite Keith Ellison.
Perez immediately named Ellison to the position of Deputy Chair and the two have attended several events together.
