Poll: About Half Of Voters Grade Trump Presidency An ‘F’ Or ‘D’
A Majority of voters give Trump non-passing grade, think his behavior is embarrassing, reckless and distracting – oh and they think he is a liar.
Voters are increasingly unhappy with Donald Trump’s presidency. According to a new poll, 47 percent of voters give Trump an F or a D grade on his performance as president so far.
And only about a third of voters give Trump an A or B grade, the latest McClatchy-Marist Poll found.
At the same time in his presidency, Barack Obama faired much better with 55 percent of voters giving him an A or a B grade and only 11 percent giving Obama an F.
Other interesting stats from the poll:
- 59 percent of voters said Trump’s behavior as president was embarrassing
- 70 percent, including 45 percent of Republicans and 3 out of 4 independents say Trump’s regular use of Twitter reckless and distracting
- 60 percent of voters also said they don’t trust Trump and his administration to deliver factual and accurate information to the public.
The survey was conducted of 1,062 adults from March 22 to March 27 by The Marist Poll. The margin of error is 3 percent.
