Feinstein Will Vote No On Gorsuch

Senator Dianne Feinstein announced Monday that she will vote against Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch.

 

Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, announced that she will oppose Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme Court.

“Unfortunately, based on Judge Gorsuch’s record at the Department of Justice, his tenure on the bench, his appearance before the Senate and his written questions for the record, I cannot support this nomination,” Feinstein said during a hearing before her Senate colleagues on Monday.

Feinstein will also support the filibuster against Neil Gorsuch’s nomination.

Senator Feinstein also noted that Gorsuch “went out of his way to apply his own view of the law.”

And she noted concern for Gorsuch’s work in the Bush Justice Department saying he knew of “enhanced interrogation techniques.”
