Bill Maher’s Blistering Critique The Cable News Glorification Of Trump’s Airstrikes
Maher slammed the cable news coverage of Donald Trump’s missile strike saying “Even the liberals were all over this.”
Bill Maher opened his show on Friday with an aggressive critique of the cable news coverage that glorified Donald Trump’s missile strike on Syria.
“Everybody loves this f*** thing. Cable news loves it when they show footage of destroyers firing cruise missiles at night. It’s America’s money shot.”
Maher also slammed Republicans for their hypocrisy, pointing out that in 2013 when Assad used chemical weapons the first time Republicans said that it would be unconstitutional for the president to order a bombing of Syria without Congressional approval.
