Majority Of Americans No Longer Think Trump Keeps His Promises: Poll
Americans don’t think Donald Trump is honest and trustworthy (probably cause he lies a lot).
After a bizarre series of flip flops last week, it looks like Donald Trump’s credibility is taking a big hit. A majority of Americans no longer think Donald Trump keeps his promises, according to a new poll.
The latest Gallup poll found that only 45 percent of Americans think the president keeps his promises, which is down from 62 percent in February.
The poll also found that among women, only 40 percent think Trump keeps his promises while 51 percent of men think he keeps his promises
The drop reflects a 17 point drop for Trump since February.
Donald Trump’s credibility among Americans is dropping on a number of issues. Since February, Trump has lost 7 points from 53 to 46 among Americans who think he can bring about the change the country needs.
The Gallup poll also found that only 36 percent of Americans think Donald Trump is honest and trustworthy.
The Gallup survey was conducted April 5-9, 2017, with a random sample of 1,019 adults. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 4%.
