Donald Trump Has Lowest Approval Rating Of Any President Over First Quarter: Gallup
Donald Trump is 20 points bellow the average of all other presidents in job approval.
Donald Trump’s approval rating has been embarrassingly low for the first few months of his presidency. According to Gallup Trump has averaged 41 percent approval over his first quarter as president.
Trump’s 41 percent approval average is the lowest of any president during their first quarter Gallup has ever polled. In fact, no president has ever been bellow 50 percent.
According to Gallup, the historical average approval of presidents is 61 percent. That means that Donald Trump’s approval rating is 20 points below the average of all other presidents.
By comparison, the next lowest first quarter is President Bill Clinton who had an average of 55 percent approval rating.
And Barack Obama averaged a 63 percent approval rating during the same period in his presidency.
The Gallup survey was conducted from Jan 20 to April 19 on the Gallup U.S. Daily survey.
