Donald Trump Approval At Record Low As 100-Day Mark Approaches: Poll

Donald Trump’s job approval rating is far below all previous modern presidents.

Donald Trump’s job approval rating is at a record low for any president at the 100-day mark in their presidency. Two new polls confirm that Donald Trump’s approval rating is in the toilet.

An ABC News/Washington Post poll found that only 42 percent of Americans say they approve of the job Donald Trump is doing, compared to 53 percent who disapprove.

A majority of Americans think that Donald Trump lacks the judgment and temperament to be an effective president. 60 percent of Americans say that Trump is not trustworthy or honest. And 56 percent say Donald Trump hasn’t accomplished very much in his first 100 days.

The ABC News poll also found that 55 percent think Donald Trump doesn’t a consistent set of principles in policy making.

And a second poll found very similar results for Donald Trump. An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found that just 40 percent approve of Donald Trump’s job as president.

And 45 percent of Americans say that Donald Trump is off to a poor start as president “with an additional 19 percent who say it’s been “only a fair start.”

Donald Trump’s job approval rating is significantly below his predecessors. “At this same point in time of their presidencies, Obama’s overall rating stood at 61 percent in the poll, George W. Bush’s was at 56 percent and Bill Clinton’s was at 52 percent.”
