With Trump, there are no coincidences.
UPDATE:
Donald Trump met with the Russian foreign minister Wednesday in the Oval Office. The meeting raises questions about the timing and rationale of the firing of FBI Director James Comey.
The meeting with Sergei Lavrov is the only public event on Donald Trump’s schedule Wednesday.

Donald Trump will meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in the Oval Office on Wednesday, according to the White House.
The meeting with the Russian foreign minister comes just one day after Trump abruptly announced the firing of FBI Director Comey. Weeks earlier, Comey announced during congressional testimony that the FBI is conducting an investigation into collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia agents in the 2016 election.
The meeting between Trump and the Russian foreign minister is the highest level in person meeting between Trump and the Russian government so far.
Lavrov is scheduled to meet with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson before meeting with Trump Wednesday.
