House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz announced on Tuesday that he will be issuing a subpoena to obtain a memo authored by former FBI Director James Comey stating that Donald Trump asked the FBI to end its probe of Michael Flynn.

“.@GOPoversight is going to get the Comey memo, if it exists. I need to see it sooner rather than later. I have my subpoena pen ready,” Chaffetz tweeted Tuesday night.
The announcement from the Chairman of the House Oversight Committee comes on the heels of the bombshell New York Times story that revealed Trump pressed James Comey to end the FBI’s investigation of Flynn.
