White House Lawyers Are Consulting Impeachment Experts: Report
New report confirms the White House is freaking out about impeachment.
White House counsel has started looking to experts for information on the impeachment process in order to prepare for the possibility of Donald Trump facing impeachment proceedings.
CNN reported that White House sources informed them Friday that they have started researching impeachment proceedings amid more calls from Democratic lawmakers to impeach the president.
Donald Trump set off a firestorm after he abruptly fired FBI Director James Comey and admitting that he did so because of the FBI’s investigation into the Trump team’s collusion with the Russians.
It was subsequently reported that Donald Trump pressured Comey to drop the FBI’s investigation into Michael Flynn.
On Wednesday Deputy Attorney General announced the appointment of former FBI Director Robert Mueller as special counsel to lead the Trump-Russia investigation.
Donald Trump, during a meeting the Russian ambassador and foreign minister in the Oval Office, shared top secret intelligence information that was received from Israel without permission.
It was reported Friday that the FBI’s investigation has reached all the way into the White House with a senior adviser to Trump being investigated. According to the report, the senior White House adviser is personally close to Donald Trump leaving little doubt that it is Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.
