Rachel Maddow Keeps Crushing Fox News
MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow is clearly now the undisputed queen of cable news. Maddow continues to be the go-to destination for Americans looking for thoughtful reporting on the Trump administration.
And because of Maddow’s strong viewership, MSNBC has rocketed to the top of the cable news ratings race, providing a strong lead-in for Lawerence O’Donnell who also beats Fox News on most nights and Brian Williams who hosts “The 11th Hour.”
On Thursday night, Maddow’s show was the most watched program in cable news with nearly 3 million viewers. With 2.94 million viewers, Maddow beat Fox News’s Tucker Carlson by about 300,000 viewers.
“The Last Word” with Lawrence O’Donnell also finished number one with 2.496 million viewers compared to 2.446 million for Sean Hannity.
And “The 11th Hour” with Brian Williams won its timeslot at 11 PM ET with more than 1.8 million viewers compared to 1.1 million and 1.3 for CNN and Fox respectively.
Maddow continues to provide in-depth reporting of the Trump administration, refusing to be distracted by the outrageous things Trump says or tweets and focusing on what the administration is doing.
