Donald Trump Just Embarrassed Himself On The World Stage. 

In a bizarre moment with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Donald Trump seemed to admit that he shared highly classified intelligence with the Russians.

Trump and Netanyahu were standing for pictures in front of press cameras when the Israeli Prime Minister said that the intelligence sharing relationship between Israel and the United States is still strong.

And that’s when Donald Trump decided to step in it and make a fool of himself.

Trump stopped the press handlers from pushing the press out of the room so he could make a statement. Trump then confidently said that he never mentioned the word Israel during his meeting with the Russians.

But here’s the problem with that, no one ever accused Trump of saying the word Isreal during the meeting.

The issue is that Trump shared highly classified Israeli intelligence with the Russians without prior permission from Israel, compromising a source embedded within ISIS.

The moment is a major gaffe during Trump first trip abroad as president and certainly won’t help Trump’s attempt to prove he can have a successful international trip.

Trump’s statement shows he lacks a basic understanding of why the sharing highly classified intelligence with the Russians was a problem in the first place.

The other obvious conclusion from Trump’s statement is that it essentially confirms that Trump shared intelligence with the Russians, which the White House had denied. It also confirms that Israel was the source of the intelligence, to begin with, which was reported but also not confirmed by either government.
