Donald Trump Just Hired A Lawyer For Russia Investigation
According to a new report by ABC News, Donald Trump plans to hire Marc Kasowitz as his personal attorney to represent him in the federal investigation into his campaign’s collusion with Russia and the subsequent cover-up and obstruction of justice.
ABC News reported that Trump is expected to bring aboard the New York-based lawyer, who has represented Trump several times in the past.

The White House has not yet confirmed the news.
By hiring Kasowitz to represent him personally, Trump is acknowledging the scandal has grown considerably and threatens to put him in legal jeopardy.
The Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced last week the appointment of former FBI Director Robert Mueller as special counsel to oversee the investigation.
It was also revealed in recent days that Donald Trump attempted to kill the FBI’s investigation by telling James Comey to drop it and by asking members of his White House to inquire about shutting down the investigation.
Trump was last represented by Kasowitz last year when The New York Times printed accusations from women claiming Trump sexually assaulted them, demanding a retraction from the paper.
Kasowitz on his website highlights his experience that Trump likely finds useful. “Marc regularly serves as national trial counsel in complex litigation in the areas of bank finance, fraudulent conveyance, RICO, corporate governance, antitrust, securities, mass tort, product liability, environmental, breach of contract, and other commercial cases.”
“Marc also has an extensive and successful track record in dealing with investigations and lawsuits by state attorneys general.”
Oh yeah, Trump’s top candidate to fill James Comey’s job as FBI Director Joe Lieberman also happens to work at that law firm.
