Donald Trump Doesn’t Know How to Keep His Mouth Shut.
There is now an unmistakable pattern emerging of Donald Trump not being able to keep highly classified secrets. Last week it was revealed that Trump shared “code word” classified intelligence with the Russians, exposing an Israeli intelligence asset that had infiltrated ISIS in Syria.
And now we learn that during a conversation with Rodrigo Duterte the authoritarian leader of the Philippines, Donald Trump shared the location of two nuclear submarines off the coast of North Korea.
“We have a lot of firepower over there,” Trump said to Duterte according to a transcript of the call obtained by the New York Times. “We have two submarines — the best in the world. We have two nuclear submarines, not that we want to use them at all.”
The location of Nuclear Submarines is highly classified information and revealing that information is a major violation of Pentagon policy. As a matter of national security policy, only the captains and crew of the submarines know for sure where they’re located.
Over and over, Trump proves that he is incapable of keeping the nation’s most sensitive intelligence secrets to himself.
