House Intel Committee To Subpoena Michael Flynn
House Intel Committee Turns The Screws On Flynn.
Politico is reporting that the House Intelligence Committee will issue a subpoena to Michael Flynn in the Russia investigation.
The ranking Democrat on the Intel Committee Adam Schiff is hopeful the subpoena will be issued this week.

“We initially requested his voluntary participation,” Schiff told reporters “He declined. We are going to be subpoenaing him.”
The Senate Intelligence Committee announced Tuesday that they are issuing two new subpoenas to Flynn’s businesses after Flynn invoked the Fifth Amendment and refused to turn over documents to the Senate Committee.
Flynn has increasingly become the central player in the Trump-Russia investigation as the FBI’s investigation has ramped up in recent weeks.
Flynn lied on documents when he renewed his security clearance by claiming the money he was paid by Russia came from a U.S. company. Flynn has also come under fire for work he did as a foreign agent for the country of Turkey for which he was paid almost $600,000.
Flynn left the Trump administration after just 24 days when it was revealed that he lied about having communications with the Russian ambassador and suggesting the Trump administration would be easier on Russia when it comes to sanctions.
