Absolutely No One Wants To Be Trump’s New Communications Director
Seriously, not one person on the planet wants this job.
We learned early Tuesday that Donald Trump’s communications director has resigned and will be leaving the Whtie House imminently.
But now, a new report confirms that literally, no person, not one person on the planet wants to take the job that just opened up in the Trump administration.
Much has been said, reported and lambasted (SNL) about how awful it is to work for Donald Trump, especially on his communications team… you know on account of the fact that Trump constantly lies to you, changes those lies and contradicts you on Twitter hours later.
According to a new report by Buzzfeed News, after speaking with at least 20 Republican high-level communications professionals, almost no one seemed even vaguely interested in the job.
It was also reported on MSNBC Tuesday afternoon that at least four people have been offered the White House communications director position but all have declined.
Here are a few of the more hilarious responses that Buzzfeed reported from Republican operatives that they spoke with:
- “Hell no! That would be career suicide.”
- “Sorry, I’m sorry. Oh, you’re being serious? Oh my god, I’m crying of laughter, why would anyone in their right mind want to be his communications director?”
- “It’s attractive to someone who is willing to ruin their reputation or who isn’t worried about what the future of their career looks like. You have to be willing to manage the unmanageable.”
- “That’s like asking someone who just witnessed a horrific bungee jumping accident whether they would like to go next.”
