Lawrence O’Donnell Will Be Staying At MSNBC ‘For Foreseeable Future’
The Last Word host and MSNBC have come to an agreement to keep O’Donnell on the air for next few years.
At the end of his show Wednesday night, Lawrence O’Donnell seemed to confirm that he has signed a new contract to remain at MSNBC for the next few years.
For weeks it had been rumored that the network was trying to get rid of O’Donnell.
However, his statement on air and a recent tweet have put those rumors to rest.
“Yes I will be saying hi to Rachel Maddow at 10pm for the foreseeable future,” O’Donnell tweeted.

And during the final segment on his show Wednesday night, O’Donnell asked an intern “You know where I’ll be next week?” Then he said: “I will be sitting right here, talking about the James Comey hearing and everything else that happens next week, and everything that happens for the next couple of years.”
O’Donnell has seen his ratings surge over the last few months as MSNBC has taken the top spot in the cable news battle.
