Seth Meyers Brilliantly Mocks Trump Over Comey Testimony (Video)

Seth Meyers dedicated his “A Closer Look” segment on Wednesday night to covering James Comey’s bombshell testimony to the Senate which was released earlier in the day.
“Comey’s opening statement is now public, and it contains some damning and truly bizarre details about Comey’s uncomfortable interactions with Trump,” Meyers said.
Meyers noted the “sheer number of conversations” that Trump and Comey had and commented on “weird” that is considering the fact that President Obama had only two private conversations with the FBI Director.
“Trump, on the other hand, would not leave him alone,” Meyers said.
Meyers joke that Trump talked Comey nine times and “to put that in perspective, he’s only talked to Eric five times ever.”
Meyers also brought up the loyalty pledge that Trump demanded from Comey saying, “if nothing else, incredibly awkward.”
Comey wrote that when Trump asked him for that loyalty, “I didn’t move, speak, or change my facial expression in any way during the awkward silence that followed.”
“This sounds like a terrible Tinder date,” Meyers joked.
But the “craziest part,” Meyers said was “absurd lengths Trump went to to try to get Comey to pledge his loyalty by essentially playing word games with him.”
