Trump’s Lawyer Released Embarrassing Typo-Filled Statement After Comey Testimony
Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Marc Kasowitz released a typo-filled statement following James Comey’s Senate testimony on Thursday. The typos are embarrassing and high-profile mistakes at the beginning of Mr. Kasowitz’s leadership of Donald Trump’s defense.
Kasowitz is Donald Trump’s longtime personal lawyer and has represented him in many lawsuits including the Trump University fraud case.
The typos were quickly pointed out on Twitter.
Typo #1
In the opening sentence, Kasowitz misspelled the word president. “I am Marc Kasowitz, Predisent Trump’s personal lawyer,” the first sentence said.
Thank god the PREDISENT got that first class lawyer to defend him #Unpredisented pic.twitter.com/6Iq9YF4MB4

Typo #2
Later in the statement, Kasowitz had another typo, this time using two periods at the end of a sentence. “The President likewise never pressured Mr. Comey. .”
It’s not just “Predisent” Trump. The whole thing should be given as a copy-editing test. It’s bad. Look: pic.twitter.com/GFv4nfEFY8

Typo #3
The typos didn’t end there. Kasowitz also misspells the name of Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats.
