Donald Jr. Accidentally Admits His Dad Is Lying About Comey Meetings (Video)

During an interview Saturday night, Donald Trump Jr. seemed to contradict his dad and confirm former FBI Director James Comey’s version of events.

As Comey testified under oath this week, Donald Trump asked him to drop the investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

Donald Trump has said that he never asked Comey to drop the investigation and that the issue never came up.

But Donald Jr. seems to have missed the memo. Here is how he described the situation:

“When he tells you to do something, guess what? There’s no ambiguity in it. There’s no, ‘Hey, I’m hoping,’” Trump Jr. said during an appearance on Fox News.

“You and I are friends: ‘Hey, I hope this happens, but you’ve got to do your job.’ That’s what he told Comey.”

But according to Donald Trump’s outside counsel Marc Kasowitz, Trump “never, in form or substance, directed or suggested that Mr. Comey stop investigating anyone.”
