Donald Trump’s Approval Rating Just Dropped Again: Report
Donald Trumps job approval rating just fell once again to a near-all-time low.
According to the new Gallup survey, just 36 percent of Americans approve of the job Donald Trump is doing. At the same time, 59 percent of Americans disapprove of Trump’s job as president.
Trump’s job approval has remained at historic lows compared with all other presidents since Gallup started polling on presidential job approval.
The recent decline in Donald Trump’s job approval rating began when Trump announced his intention to withdraw the United States from the Paris Climate Accord and continued to fall after former FBI Director James Comey testified before the Senate.
Trump’s approval rating has only been lower on one occasion during his presidency. On March 28, Trump’s approval rating stood at 35 percent with 59 percent disapproving of Trump’s job performance.
A separate poll released Monday found that 49 percent of voters believe that Trump has obstructed justice and 53 percent saying Trump is a liar.
The PPP survey also found that 47 percent of voters favor impeachment.
About the poll: Gallup tracks daily the percentage of Americans who approve or disapprove of the job Donald Trump is doing as president. Daily results are based on telephone interviews with approximately 1,500 national adults; Margin of error is ±3 percentage points.
