America’s CEO’s Give Trump A Failing Grade
It isn’t just the average American who is disappointed with the Trump presidency. According to a new poll, America’s CEO’s give Donald Trump a failing grade.
In a poll conducted by CNN Money, half of CEOs and business executives would give Trump an “F” for his presidency so far.
And another 21 percent of business leaders surveyed give Trump’s performance a “D.”
Just one percent would give the president an “A.”
According to the leader of the business summit, the message for Trump from business leaders is “stop random 3 a.m. tweets” and “the needless brushfires diverting from the agenda.”
“This was not a granola-eating crowd of Democrat entrepreneurs. It’s a cross-section of the business community, including some who are quite pro-Trump,” he continued.
“Two-thirds of respondents indicated that Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris climate accord diminished America’s global standing. Another 86% expressed concern about Trump minimizing Russian security mischief,” CNN notes.
The survey of business leaders is just the latest evidence that the business community is growing disenchanted with Donald Trump and is losing confidence in his ability to move his agenda forward.
