Vast Majority Think Trump Doesn’t Have Respect For Democratic Institutions
Devastating New Poll Numbers For Donald Trump.
The Amerian people overwhelmingly believe that the President of the United States doesn’t have respect for the institutions of democracy.
According to a new poll, 65 percent of Americans say that Trump has little or no respect for the country’s democratic institutions or traditions. Just 34 percent of Americans think Donald Trump has a great deal or a fair amount of respect for them.
Trump’s job approval rating keeps falling
The Associated Press/NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll also found that Donald Trump’s job approval rating is extremely low.
The poll found that 64 percent of Americans don’t approve of the job Trump is doing a president, with just 35 percent saying they approve of the Trump’s job performance.
Other devastating numbers from the poll:
- 66 percent of Americans disapprove of the way Trump is handling the issue of healthcare
- 64 percent disapprove of the way Trump is dealing with climate change
- 65 percent of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track
- 64 percent disapprove of Trump’s handling of climate change
- 60 percent disapprove of Trump’s handling of immigration
- 55 percent disapprove of how Trump’s handling the economy
About the poll: The Associated Press/NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll was conducted from June 8 to 11 among 1,068 adults. The margin of error is 4.1 percentage points.
