Donald Trump Admitted Obstruction Of Justice In Fox News Interview (Video)
During an interview with Fox News on Thursday, Donald Trump seemingly admitted attempting to obstruct justice, specifically witness intimidation.
Trump said that he lied about having tapes of his conversations with James Comey in order to try to keep him “honest.”
By making this statement, Donald Trump is essentially admitting to witnessing intimidation which is obstruction of justice.
Fox reporter Ainsley Earnhardt then said that lying about having tapes was “a smart way to make sure he stayed honest in those hearings.”
“Well, uh, it wasn’t very stupid, I can tell you that,” Trump replied.
Again Trump admits to trying to coerce a witness.
Comey testified under oath before the Senate Intelligence Committee earlier this month that Trump pressed him for a pledge of loyalty and later demanded that he drop the FBI investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
