New Poll Confirms Americans Trust Comey Over Trump
A new poll confirms that Donald Trump has very little credibility on the firing of James Comey.
Americans by a significant 2 to 1 margin believe James Comey over Donald Trump when it comes to the firing of the former FBI Director, according to the new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.
The poll found that while 45 percent of Americans believe James Comey is telling the truth, just 22 percent of Americans believe Donald Trump is telling the truth about the firing.

The NBC News/ Wall Street Journal poll also finds that 46 percent of Americans disapprove of Donald Trump’s decision to fire Comey. That number is up from 38 percent in May.
About the poll: The NBC/WSJ poll was conducted June 17-20 of 900 adults — including more than 400 by cell phone — and it has an overall margin of error of plus-minus 3.3 percentage points.
