Catholic Bishops Blast Senate Health Bill Calling It ‘Unacceptable’
Looks like Jesus is not part of the 17 percent who support the GOP bill.
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops released a statement condemning the Republican health care bill on Monday.
“This moment cannot pass without comment,” the organization wrote after the Congressional Budget Office released a report indicating that 22 million people would lose their health insurance under the bill.
“As the USCCB has consistently said, the loss of affordable access for millions of people is simply unacceptable. These are real families who need and deserve health care.”
